Wild Heaven is a Georgia company created by lifelong Georgians – founder Nick Purdy (also Publisher of Paste Magazine); with beer recipes designed by former Trappeze Pub owner Eric Johnson. The core year-round portfolio is focused on world-class beers designed to offer something new to the beer landscape—not simply creating our version of what everyone else is doing.
Their beers are designed in the great tradition of European brewing; but with a distinctly American creative flair. And, moreover, their all-grain, no adjunct-sugar philosophy creates bigger flavor without excess alcohol.
Wild Heaven spans 21,600 sq ft at the Westside Beltline complex. It includes a patio and gardens overlooking the trail, a large taproom, and two private event spaces; with a total of 68 rotating taps throughout the brewery. A seven-barrel brewhouse allows Wild Heaven brewmaster and co-owner Eric Johnson to create “innovative beers” to be consumed on the premises and purchased in 16-ounce four packs.
In addition to the brewery, there is a restaurant, a large taproom and two private event spaces; one for smaller groups and another for larger groups of up to 300+. Outside, overlooking the BeltLine Westside Trail, is a 12,000 sq ft patio and lawn area; complemented by various gardens, under Eric Johnson’s direction. Johnson is also a renowned horticulturalist and hosted a gardening show on PBS for 20 years. William Baber (City Winery, The Georgian Terrace) joins the team as the Director of Hospitality; overseeing the Taproom and private event business.
